ENTAG, an independent Egyptian engineering firm specialized in providing quality environmental services, was established in 1995 by a group of Egyptian professionals of engineers, chemists, urban planners, management specialists, financial analysts, and computer experts who have first hand knowledge of the successes and failures of existing technologies in the Egyptian environmental context.


Citadel Capital is the leading private equity firm in the MENA region; it has acquired a controlling stake in ENTAG and in turn ENTAG will be under one holding company and will serve as the core of Citadel Capital's platform investment in the solid waste management sector.


ENTAG has traditionally focused on growth through diversification: originally founded as a construction company, in 1998 it branched into municipal services with a contract to Provide Engineering Services to MSW Sorting& Composting Plants (phase 2) for National Organization of Military Production, Egypt.


ENTAG's core businesses are environmental services and waste management, design & construction of mechanical, infrastructure, civil and electrical works, Waste-To- Energy and Biomass conversion.
It has a footprint in 5 countries worldwide with several projects in each country and over 31% of its revenues come from outside Egypt (mainly Libya and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).
